what have I gotten myself into?

So, I have about four days to come up with an idea for a novel. Hmm. I think the problem is that I haven't really started thinking about it much. Another problem is that I think of an idea and forget to write it down, so then it's lost and gone forever. Or I have an idea of what I want the novel to be about, but no idea how to involve characters, plot, etc.

Oh well. I do have four days.

I'm supposed to have 50,000 words after 30 days. That's roughly 1667 words a day. Or 12,500 words a week.

Good lord.
